The Royal Society and Russian Foundation for Basic Research call for proposals

The Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) and the Royal Society in accordance with the Memorandum on cooperation have launched a call for joint projects in the field of Natural Sciences.

The 2012 call for financial support for a basic research project covers the following priority areas:

• mathematics,
• computer science,
• physics,
• chemistry,
• engineering,
• agricultural and medical research,
• the scientific aspects of archaeology,
• geography,
• experimental psychology.

The supported research must be carried out jointly by Russian and British scientists and be of mutual interest.

The call is open until 15 February 2012.
